There aren’t much can be said about Balinese textile except that it has been influenced
by so many traditions, styles, and other cultural elements.
There are so many different materials used, motifs adopted, and techniques chosen that can be seen in thousand
of shops lining up on the streets of Bali today!
Out of those, only three remains uniquely Balinese : the prada, the songket
, and the endek clothes.
