For Balinese, performing arts are inseparable from their daily lives. Music, dance,
and drama all used as means to express themselves, the society, and the religion they adhere to.
It would not be complete to have any kind of gathering without music or dance or drama,
usually performed by people from the village itself.
In religious occasions, performing arts are used to entertain both the gods and the
humans who partake in the ceremonies.
